It was a dark and stormy night. Very stormy. 11 strangers all with dark secrets find themselves stranded at a creepty motel at the ass end of nowhere. Is it any surprise when they all begin to die mysteriously? You may think this movie sounds like a simple rehash of a dozen others, trust me it's not. Half way through you may be sure you know who done it, trust me you don't. You may think you've caught all the clues to what's behind all the strange going ons, trust me you haven't. If I had a dollar for every time I said "what the" while watching this movie I could tell my boss to kiss my butt and stay home to devote myself full time to the movies. You roll along, thinking, oh yea, know I've got it figured out, then "what the" was that???? Then when the plot twists comes clean, you find yourself sitting there dumb founded, replaying all that has come before, fascinated at the implications. This was a fun ride. At times the acting may seem a little melodramatic to you, but it is totally appropriate in the context of the story. Sisgal gives it a soggy 3 out of 5. |
