I remember watching Herbie in the Drive-In Movies as a kid and getting the View Master slides to remember the movie. I've been very disappointed with alot of the violence in movies geared for kids lately. When I saw Disney putting out the Herbie videos on DVD, I bought them to show my 8 and 4 year old boys. They loved Herbie and we watch the movies often. Needless to say my boys wanted to see the new Herbie movie as much as I did when we heard it was coming out. We went to the Sneak Preview on Sunday June 19 and were not disappointed. My boys loved every minute of it and cheered Herbie on, especially against the Monster truck. I thought the computer enhancements were subtle enough to make Herbie more real. My 8 year old afterwards was full of questions like where can we get a car like Herbie?! The kids thought Herbie's new look was great. As for me, Herbie can still hang with the best, no matter what track he's on! So where do I find a NASCAR Herbie? |
