I went to see this movie with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth from the last version of each of both Freddy's and Jason's.. I'm a huge fan of both worlds but pushed myself a bit to see it at the opening Thursday night in my town. I saw every Freddy , Jason and Halloween ever made and hoped to have at least a bit of fun. I did !
From the awesome music of the title screen to the ending , I was captivated. It ain't the best horror movie I've saw, but it was enough for me to have a enjoyable evening. Deaths and gore always make me happy in a movie and you have enough to satisfy your needs with this one..
Only thing that broke a bit the mood of the movie is that they retained a bit of Freddy's humour..The movie could have been a bit more serious and maybe a bit longer.. And the acting is still a bit .. hmm...fit for a "b" movie... |
