Critics must not be doing their homework...

This movie is a great portrayal of the classic Marvel series. Movie critics who take stabs at the plot or the storyline are missing the point of the comic's original intent; to take normal people and put them in extrordinary circumstances in a present day environment.

Imagine the hoopla surrounding Hollywood celebs today, and apply it to these heroes of circumstance, and you can begin to understand Stan Lee's vision. These people didn't choose to be heroes... but they can't run away. The problems they face making the changes in their life due to their new celebrity only multiply the problems they face with each other and their powers. They're all learning together.

These characters, however, are not like Spider-Man. They can't hide, and their personal demons are not so well hidden. This movie does an excellent job at keeping pace and developing the story the way the comics did... quickly and with a lot of flash.

This film isn't supposed to be the dark brooding film that the X-Men or Batman films are. That's not the story of these heroes, so don't color them with that brush. Go in and have fun!
