The powerful story of a man's love for his children is told in an incredibly honest way. His faults are not downplayed, but truly shown. The power of the Catholic Church, and its incredible arrogance, in Ireland, are shown with no apology.
It is not often that a man is portrayed has loving as Pierce Bronson in this movie, and we need male role models like him in the world. |
