Sick as I am of people who write reviews without having seen the movie, I want to say up front, I SAW THIS MOVIE AND I LIKED IT! I didn't go in expecting some earth-shattering drama, or even something that would happen in real-life. I expected it to be far-fetched. After all, Ben Stiller's in it! (That's a GOOD thing!) As usual, Stiller is great at his frenetic frustration, and Drew Barrymore was better than I expected. The opening animation is horrid, but the plot twist at the end is really funny. And it wasn't totally predictable. A little, but not too much. Plus, Drew looked the hottest I've ever seen her!
If you're looking for plausible, don't see it. If you're looking for heartrending, don't bother. If you're looking for some silly laughs and a fun time, see it. |
