The name sucks. Jet Li is a great fighter and a decent actor, but always picks bad movies. DMX isn't the strongest actor. So all in all I thought this movie would be pure crap. It was actually pretty entertaining. Don't look for the best acting or the strongest story... you've seen everything in this movie before. But the pacing is great, it's a decent twist on the things they're borrowing from, and it's an all around fun action movie. DMX is better at playing himself than Eminem (for this movie he was a good actor... I dunno how far that would extend into other movies). Jet Li was cool as usual. Oh, and the reason I actually sat and watched this movie in the first place is because I saw Gabrielle Union & Kelly Hu's names in the starting credits. WHOOOOOOO!!!!!! |
