Not as bad as I thought!

I was planning on avoiding this movie because of the horrible buzz and close to no theater time....I was actually pretty surprised.
The movie is nothing special, Cuba Gooding Jr and Horatio Sanz piss off Artie Lange and Will Ferrell in short cameos as gay cruise directors. Sanz and Gooding Jr want to go on a cruise and the pissed off guys send them on an all gay cruise, men only.
Theres a few funny gay jokes and a few more funny scenes and jokes in the film but its nothing that'll have you laughing too hard.
Roger Moore steals the show as a rich gay guy who is a war veteran for her majesty. The line he says in the airplane at the end about what colonials call him was the best line in the movie, the way he says it with his accent, it's hilarious.
Its worth seeing once, its got some good humor to it but of course, being its a gay cruise, you can expect some weird things to show up here and there, so be prepared you manly men....I recommend it only for the funny Roger Moore parts and warn that Cuba Gooding Jr does a lot of goofy and hard to watch dancing in the film. |
