This film is definitely a heartwarmer and a good date film. If "Love Actually" is too much of a chick flick, try this as a compromise. Big Fish is reminiscent of "Forest Gump" in that it follows a man in his absurd travels. The main difference is that there are no corny phrases about peas, carrots, or chocolates. It is definitely worth a look at when you are not in the cynical mood. |
