Good Enough
by A Marie (movies profile)

The main characters seemed to be a mother figure and a perpetual teenager. Geoffrey Rush seemed to be doing an imitation of Woody Allen, only a little smoother and less awkward.
I loved the make up and costumes; I loved the sets. I loved the hippie styled den that Suzette inhabited. I also loved the cool contemporary style of Lavinia's house. Imagine having the money to landscape that property in dry, dusty, Phoenix.
It was an entertaining movie. As Suzette drove off into the sunset with her age-appropriate boyfriend, there is a vague hope that she might become as comfortably established in LA as Lavinia was in Phoenix. |
