GOOD... but it is rated R for a reason...

First off, I have grown up watching all sorts of movies... I was watching Terminator back when I was seven, so violence is not usually a big issue to me. As funny and entertaining as this movie was, the violence was slightly extreme. I mean, the jokes were great, seriously fun to watch, but within the first 30 minutes of the movie there are probably 50 some people dead! And it wasn't the bad guys killing people here, our two main characters are guilty as well. The attitude was that it was okay and necessary, that violence should be promoted, and that it isnt that big of a deal. If you dont like gore or blood, I do not reccomend it. Saving Private Ryan did not bother me. This did. The movie was good, but please don't let your 13 year old son and his friends watch it, it is just not right. Plus the sexuality they mention in the rating involves homosexual discussion and a porno video... so yet again, do think about letting your 13 year old see it. Otherwise, to those of you who are sane and mature, you're gonna laugh your bum off. |
