1. The architect is right: the perfect design of the Matrix won't work and they have to adopt some kind of balance. As a result, Zion is destroyed and rebuit aover and over again, as said in Reloaded.
2. But this is not a simple incarnation, there are some information getting collected in the Matrix (Agent Smith), which will potentially cause the destruction of both worlds. This problem cannot be solved by machine itself.
3. Oracle thinks that this can be solved by human. and the solution requires some unique features of huma nature, i.e. love. The previous "one"s all fail because of not strong enough love or some other problems.
4. Neo has the potentialbut oracle is not sure he is capable of the task. As the plot develops, Neo is showing more and more potential. Also she has to risk anyway becasue the threat of Smith is big enough.
5. Oracle makes Smith to infect her so that she cheats him to believe he sees the ending, but it is actually a trap.
6. Neo is the the machine(oracle)'s means to lead Smith program out of matrix andbe destroyed. (he is a medium). But in exchange people in zion must be set free.
7. Oracle and Neo succeed destroying Smith. the matrix is reloaded and people want to be free from matrix got their freedom. Machine and human got peace, at least temporarily.
8. Neo's super power in the real world is set up by oracle(machine). Remember that Neo cannot clear the sky, nor can he call for lightening or earthquake. the only thing he can do is destroy senitels. BUT SENITELS are controled by the machine. So the machine is fully capable of reading his brain wave or sth like that so that react accordingly. The only purpose is to make Neo clean Agent Smith.
9. In short everything is planned by the machine or at least part of the machine (it seems that there are politics within the machine between architect, oracle and the frenchman...) The plan is risky(becasue it is based on some unstable human nature) but it is the only solution machine find to get rid of the threat accumulated by the cycle.
10. Matrix is still a political metaphore like in the first one that human society is a huge matrix. all the religion, faith, christ and other similar stuff are all the system's means of self cleaning so that it will evolve to the next level.
11. Cinematography point of view. Matrix I is Ghost in a Shell. Reloaded is all Hong Kong action movies. Revolution is Mech Commander + Dragon Ball. It is all Asian!
12. The reference to all the Bible stuff is all being sarcastic. as pointed out by 10. |
