HORRIBLE! I loved the American and Japanese "Ring" but this one was just wrong! Why? Well first of all the acting was terible (typical) and well they were trying for something that just didn't work! How can a website know who you are and kill you? Was it magic? All I knew to be believable was that there was this crazy doctor making live videos or something of these girls he was torturing then killed. But how in all the world can a website he make kill people?
Its kinda funny and sad at the same time knowing that the people who were making this movie tried to make it like the "Ring". Instead of the person dying within a week they die in 2 days. "The Ring" had its reasons that made sense and was believable (especially in the Japanese version in my opinion) for the victims dying from whatever. But this one in particular...was stupid. Its hard to exactly pin point and put into words why this one didn't work for me like "Ring" did.
If you like horror movies, I suggest you rent the American/Japanese version of "The Ring" and this movie, compare the two, think about it and judge for yourself whether you like it or if they made any sense or not. "The Ring" made sense and was able to swallow for me but this one was just plain STUPID! |
