It deserves more credit

The main problem of this movie is that it copies too much from "Armagaden", and therefore a lot of parts lack creativity. Having said that, I want to point out it's unique in its own way. All the end-of-the-world movies before always feature that the destruction of this planet comes from outerspace (meteor or alien invasion). This movie gives a whole new point of view because the end of planet comes from within: the Core of the Earth has stopped spinning. And when you watch the movie you will eventually find out we are the reason the planet is dying. It's kinda like the environmental alert, except it happens way faster. Once again, heroes are rallied to save the planet and encounter numerous conflicts, which in some degree matches the masterful work from "Armagaden". Graphics in the movie were very good, and the theoratical part was well created and demonstrated. This movie deserves more credit than it's been given so far, and it certainly is worth the ticket you are buying to see it. |
