I don't care what anyone says

This was the most fun I've had in the theater in a long time. At least with this movie, we're seeing something original. Most movies out there are based on books or comics, and it was nice to see something come completely out of nowhere with a cast of actors most people don't know anything about. Sure, the music was cheesy in a few places, but the tension built up throughout the movie created a very interesting ending. As for special effects, they were just incredible. No, they weren't top of the line like The Matrix Reloaded, but usually you wouldn't expect that from a movie made with an average budget (whatever that is). There were some neat camera angles here as well, like in the very beginning, you see one person drop dead, and the camera spins around and shows hundreds more dead people. I know, it sounds morbid, but the camera work in this scene was one of the things I'll never forget. So please, don't judge this movie until you've seen it. But, perhaps, this is one of those movies that I'm the only person in the world who seems to enjoy it... |
