Has anyone else seen Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan? Good, cause you just saw it again.
OK, so not in a direct way, but...
Long lost enemy: check.
Dangerous new weapon: check.
Ship and crew dead in space: check
Needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.. or the one really fave character who can be killed and brought back: check.
Sure, Data didn't grab anyone in a Vulcan face lock and say 'Remember', but then again. Picard faces a long familiar yet deadly Romulan foe, in himself. Riker gets some ass kickin' scenes, and Worf... where did he come from this time?
Billed as 'A Generations final journey', this one all too neatly ties things up yet leaves the knots loose as hell. Oh well, I guess all is fair in love and potential sequels. |
