Better than in the Theaters!

Most movies loose something going from the Big Screen to the little screen... however, STAR TREK: NEMESIS did the opposite. I came out of the Theater wondering why I had wasted my time and my money on this "looser." But being the die-hard fan that I am, when it came out on DVD, I rented it, popped it in my Laptop and watched the movie... I was astounded. How could the movie have gotten better? But it did. I was enthralled from the very first moment to the last. I was swept away in the story, the characters and effects. I loved the speed racer thing with Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner and Michael Dorn dune bugging it through the desert planet. I was impressed with Spiner's portrayal of DATA and B4. Dorn of course was fantastic as the un-Klingon like "moody" Klingon warrior (but the question remains if he was the Federation Ambassador to the Klingon home world, what was he doing in uniform at the Riker-Troi wedding?) That issue a side, I enjoyed the movie on DVD so much, I bought it! |
