Much better than the Sorcerer's Stone, though still have rooms to improve. From the beginning with Dobby's warning till the basilisk, I enjoyed most of every minutes of this movie. The casts did their jobs well especially Rupert Grint (Ron). I also like Shirley Henderson (Myrtle) and Alan Rickman (Snape), who, I think, had too little time on screen. The story they adapted from the book is good, though some details were removed. I'd love to see gnomes at the Burrow, but considering the two and a half hour running time, it's reasonable to remove this and many other scenes. The Chamber of Secrets showed a sign that the Harry Potter Saga is going on the right track, though still have rooms to improve, but those are the challenge for casts and crews in the Prisoner of Azkaban. |
