Madonna is probably the most panned actress in Hollywood today. While I know "The Next Best Thing" was not her finest work, I think she is both realized and original in her acting; this film is one of her better ones. The end was a bit disappointing, but the film as a whole is engaging and visually stunning. At the very least, this is worth a rental! |
