A continuation of the Mariachi "thrill-ogy" of a guitar playing desperado from Mejico. In current installment an eccentric CIA agent travels to beautiful San Miguel de Alende to hatch a sinister plot involving a political figure.Wearing state of the art T-shirts(Im with stupid;CIA works, etc) he makes Bond look effeminate. He is also a galloping gormet with a voracious appetite grander than the grand canyon and copper canyon combined, selecting pork dishes(cohinita pebil) then doing away with the chef. He's one savvy wordsmith and erudite character despite his perchant double dealings and triple-armed banditry. His character literally steals the show from under the others.
Yet ,sadly, bad things happen to bad people as the movie illustrates..
A series of flashbacks to previous movies delivers much of grade A prime action. Here's one caliente movie in the heat of a colonial town and equally great characterizations of townsfolk.

Tip-- for some really fine cohinita pebil try Farmers mkt in CA.Its made in banana leaves.
