In a twisted action part-comedy in which I thought would be funnier especially starring one of my favorite comedians Seann William Scott, there was enough action, twists, suspense, and ingenuity that I enjoyed this movie. Bulletproof Monk mixed the streets with a bad guy you wanted to hate with an incredible story, but lacked comedy and good acting overall except for the performance of Chow-Yun Fat, who was overall funnier than Seann William Scott. This movie is about a scroll in which the words can make the bearer protector and ruler of the universe, while good people like Fat have been protecting it for years because man is not ready for that kind of power. If you like action and some sort of ninja style movies, you would like Bulletproof Monk. |
