Although Hugh Grant plays the exact same role in every single movie, he is strikingly equisite in this somewhat depressing tale about "two boys", one of which is 40 years old. Also, the plot of this story and the actions of Marcus (Hoult) are extremely realistic and bring unrelenting meaning to the plot. Toni Colette's performance of Fiona is touching and makes th emovie that much more meaningful. Furthermore, Hugh Grant still finds room for comedy in what I have heard to have been an extremely improvisational role in a slightly maudlin reality film. |
