Before I say anything, you should know that this review is coming from a big Reese Witherspoon fan. She's one of my favorite modern actresses, and I've honestly never seen a movie of hers that wasn't sweet, charming, and funny all at the same time. That's why I think the acting is just award-winning. They honestly couldn't have gotten better cast members. Everyone in that movie did an extoardinary job, and all of the cast members really worked together and seemed to blend nicely. The plot was great; it was intriguing, cute, and at times, hilarious. There was some tension and sadness, but this made the movie all the more fun and understandable in the end. There was never a dull moment for me. It wasn't edge-of-your-seat action, but it was just slow-flowing, sweet humor that still had enough deep feeling to get you thinking and not just laughing. Overall, this movie was fun, unique, and still realistic. It'll make you laugh and cry and think all in the same movie, and is worth seeing when you need some cheering up. Truly a great movie! |
