This movie is DA DOM!! Eminem can sing, rap, flow, and act. In this movie he displays all of those things, very creatively. One of the reasons that I saw it was because I wanted to see if Eminem could really do it(act), and this movie proves it! The setting of the movie is Detroit's 8mile where Rabbit/Jimmy(Eminem) Lives with his mom because he just broke up with his girlfriend and needs a place to stay. The other place is the shelter where Rabbit first gets booded off stage and chokes in front of a crowd of blacks(not to be racial). Then at the end he turns everything around and wins three battles to become the new champion at the shelter in place of poppa doc. I thought it was strange that this movie just ended right there, but I guess thats what movie do! So, after gathering all of my information I have decied that this movie is very good, though the ending could be a little better. Due to Eminem's scedule He did an outstanding job on this movie (applause)! For 2002 Eminem is the best know person I THINK. I would definetly like to see Eminem in another movie REAL SOON, but I would also like to see more records/alblums from him as well!! --Thank You, and hoped this helped!-- - i_gotz_shady_styles -- LATER |
