Masala film presented as snooty intelligent film. Monsoon wedding is a shoddy whisky put in a phoney Blue Label bottle. People who have good knowledge of camera work and other aspects of filmmaking will know it's a low-grade film. It uses sentimentality to lure the non-resident Indians to watch this sham. All I can say is, "Die Dubey Die". I must agree to the other users that it was smartly marketed to get over with the audience by deceitfully touting is as an upper-class-audience film. However, the people who have the real knowledge of cinema will know it's just a below par masala film wrapped in a bogus luxury pack. |
