True, it's another Bollywood melodrama and masala. It's not a film for mature or sensible audience as per the hype generated by critics. The users who have given grade F have covered everything. I have to agree with them. I had high hopes of Monsoon Wedding, but it disappointed me terribly. Let me add one more thing, the songs are not original, they have stolen the songs from other Indian movies and remixed them. Some Indian composers are always condemned and bashed by for lifting tunes of other composers. What about Monsoon Wedding? Isn't this plagiarism? They have completely ripped off the songs. |
