I am so disappointed with this film, honestly the only reason why I did not give this film an F was because I have been a fan of Halle Berry's for a long time. It is also extremely sad that this film out of all her others was picked for an Academy Award. "Losing Isaiah" and "Being Dorothy Dandridge" were exceptional films and I am disgusted that the one film that she wins an Oscar for involves an overrated sex scene with Billy Bob Thorton. The same goes for Denzel Washington with "Training Day." After Malcolm X, "Courage Under Fire", and "Remember the Titans", why should he receive an award for a movie where he plays a croooked cop who dies a bogus death in the end? WHY BLACK PEOPLE WHY! I mean how low can you all get! I am also appalled at Berry for even accepting the role. In fact, change my review this film gets an F+! |
