I am not a fan of the Halloween series and this film gave me more reasons to hate it. I was so glad that Jamie Lee Curtis decapitated Michael Myers at the end of part 7, because I wanted the series to end so badly, but was surprised that another sequel was made. So, basically the reason I watched this show was to find out how the writers were going to continue the storyline. They didn't do too bad in doing so, but the movie sucked big time. Acting was gross, and the murder scenes were even crappier than the last. Clearly, Jamie Lee wanted out of this series when she was killed by her brother. Thank you, Jamie for making such a brilliant decision. But I thought that it would've been better if she was killed at the very end instead and that the story would be Michael chasing Laurie all over again. Now, Halloween has become just like Friday the 13th where in each sequel lies a stupid new story. Sigh. |
