A wacked out boy who wears all black, make-up, chains and does an odd homage to Monica in cars at night for money goes though some changes when he builds a house with his real father who lost his job. Hayden, Kirstin and Kevin do such a great job in this movie and that is why I love it. I just love the way it plays out and how Hayden slowly becomes someone who cares for someone else. Even at the end he still has a little of what he was at the begaining. He was not all the way changed but his dad made a great start. It was not too sappy. I do not understand what people think is sappy but this is not it. What other people, critics, think is lovely and cry worthy are boring oscar winners that never should have won. That is why I nominate myself as a Critic and deserve my own collume somewhere with a great editor because of my awful spelling. I like how Kevin and Hayden argue at the begain which makes their bond towards the end even more wonderful. I own this movie and I do so because I loved it when I saw it in the movie theater and I cannot imagaine not having it. I am glad I saw this movie or I would have been upset with the way Hayden acted in Star Wars. But I excuse him because lucas makes the charaters and actors have no libirties with them. Life is a House does show that people can change. That the one changing another can in the process of doing so change themselves. A wonderful realization. |
