In a single word, this movie SUCKS. The editing was terrible; like the 1st reviewer said, there is a scene where the stars are eating in a restaurant and then "Buz" just appears out of thin air! How could the film-makers have possibly missed that?! The story could have been made into a "decent" film (Sexy girl goes off to California to be a dancer and 2 guys eventually fight over her affections), but THIS was truly awful. The characters were annoying....so annoying in fact that you hope they get shot by the end of the film. The whole beach scene with the bathtub-on-wheels dune buggy was completely unnecessary. The dialogue was cut off in mid-sentence at times......but perhaps thats a good thing. All in all, this film received some of lowest ratings in film history. If you know about the MST3K television show, however, then you should see this episode if you want a good laugh. In fact, it's Mike Nelson's all-time favorite episode. |
