I absolutely abhor so-called comedies that try to pass themselves off as intelligent, yet seemingly pause for the viewer to grasp that the writer or director intended for you to laugh at this part or that part. Ugh. Thankfully, Mr. Anderson has not been overly successful, so my hope is that he will FADE AWAY from filmdom altogether. |
