Denzel Washington drastically turned from being a good guy-type actor to a badass in Training Day. He plays a crooked LA cop who tries to recruit a young officer still learning the ways of the streets. Denzel really does some bad ***** in this movie, and I won't give anything away. There are some is a rather confusing subplot in this movie, but overall it was fantastic, really depicting the way of the streets of L.A. very well. Denzel absolutely deserves his Academy Award for this role. |
