The story is kinda average for a horror-story but very moving too. I liked the freaky Ghostbuster-guy, his acting was slamming! Well the others were pretty average I would say. Oh yes the guy who played Syrus Kritikos(he was also Salieri in Amadeus which was good too) was briliant. The Direction was good too. The visuals were AMAZING!!! The only thing that is really disturbing are the slow-motion scenes at the beginning. Overall its a good movie which deserves to be called "mainstream-horror-movie". I enjoyed it a lot. Well, if u dont like these "popular" horror-flicks compare it to the frightening sickness of House of 1000 corpses(this story was LAME LAME LAME) but the visuals were good, but it all changed when it got unreal with these Mud-monsters in the graves. Then the movie lost its fun and frightening realness. 13 Ghosts deals with unrealness from the very beginning, which puts it into a whole other genre for me.
