Arnie VS TX & T-prototypes! Excellent!

As time goes by, the true greatness of Terminator 3 will place it among the best of all sequels ever made. It is "The Empire Strikes Back" of the Terminator series. The only disappointment, and only a small one at that, is that Terminator 3 felt about 20 minutes too short. I didn't want it to end! It is fascinating to note that the future lieutenants in John Conner's army are very average-looking humans. Teenagers working at fast-food joints, for example. Equally fascinating were the prototype Terminators, models T-01 and T-02 if I am not mistaken, that are the very first Terminators ever to become self-aware! It was awesome to see the prototype Hunter-Killers in the Government lab as well! Clunky, with tank-treads, and obviously very early in the Terminator series of robots, these prototypes still carry unbelieveable firepower and do quite well when they rise against the humans during their first moments of consciousness in the Government facility The inevitable Terminator battles are TOP NOTCH! Tons of action and Terminator-style ass-kicking, from the streets, to the top-secret Skynet lab. Nobody could break a urinal over your head like Arnie! However, Arnold's Terminator in T3 is not the mushy Terminator that he was in T2. There is a sad moment, like in T2, where Arnold looks like he is finished...only to come back for sweet revenge!! It doesn't get much better than this! You enter the movie thinking Arnold only has to battle the TX. It was a surprise to find out he has to battle the very first prototype Terminators too! Terminator 3...it is your mission perogative to go see one of the greatest, fascinating, action-packed, sci-fi movies on the big screen NOW!!!! |
