It becomes evident, about halfway throught the film, A Beautiful Mind, that John Nash, Jr. is going to experience terrible heartbreak that not even his genius can distract him from. The beautiful scenery, which I enjoyed, can not even distract him.
This is a film about male friendship more than it is about marriage. To watch John Nash's marriage to Jennifer Connelly's character fail is painful to watch.
It would be nice to see Tobey Maguire or Christopher Maguire play the role of John Nash, Jr. in a few years.
I recommend this film.
