Nicole Kidman plays Grace, a woman locked in her house with two photosensitive children, and convinces her self that her house is haunted. BAFTA and Golden Globe nominated; I must admit, its very good. Alejandro Amenábar brings back the tradition of true horror: No CGI animation, creepy eyes watching from the floor boreds, No violance, language, and it is still spooky. Nicole Kidman does an excellent job as Grace, and the two children are equally as spooky/cute like Haley Joel Osment as Cole Sear in the sixth sense. To the contrary, it is a new update on good old horror. Alejandro Amenábar could be the next M. Night Shyamalan. I just love this film, Alejandro Amenábar uses lighting properly, and isolation, and the real feel that they are going insane, and just to say, its a great plot, definatly worth watching. If this film became more famous, the twist[ed] ending would be infamous just like The Sixth Sense. Wow, Its a knock out.
