This movie is about a young woman's quest for a man & ultimately for herself. That woman is Elle Woods, & she starts out as a sweet but bubble-headed blonde who has everything she could possibly want--until her man dumps her to pursue his dreams at Harvard. She ends up going to Harvard to get him back, but she finds so much more than him there.
This movie has everything you could want in it--humor, enlightenment, rebirth, & hope. I was drawn in by Elle Woods' sweet, loving nature, & I found myself cheering for her.
One of the most awesome parts of the movie is when she turns to her ex & turns him down the same way he turned her down! It's about time someone gives a smug mama's boy a taste of his own medicine.
Throughout the movie, she gives "the unfortunates" hope again that they can be desirable. She even gets one of her classmates a date & her hair dresser a groom.
Legally Blonde will win your heart. It is a must see.
P.S. Don't bother with Legally Blonde 2. Remember Matrix? The same applies here. |
