I HATE the whole Scary movie / slapstick / naked gun type movie, BUT this movie is HYSTERICAL. I have watched and rewatched this movie well over 10x and I never stop laughing at it. The reason I like this movie is because:
1. the Wayan's brothers are very funny. If you don't think they are funny you will still enjoy the movie because the screen time is pretty much divided equally among all the actors.
2. Tim Curry is classic
3. Chris Elliott in the role as the handy butler is awesome
4. the opening scene with James Woods and Andy Richter spoofing the exorcist is awesome.
I could actually write about every character in the movie and the various scenes they were in. They all have their moments and up until the very end it is awesome. I totally reccommend this movie for those people tht know about movies and can really "get" the inside jokes
Definitely a strong B and an easy choice for a rental if you havent seen it already |
