Great Slapstick fun....
It's a movie you can just sit back and enjoy without having to think. Although the story is somewhat different, Rat Race is very similar to "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World" - you know, the old movie that packed with stars that race across the country to dig up a case full of Jimmy Durante's cash. There's really not much of a story here - but it is enough to hold the film together. The cast is racing from Las Vegas to Silver City Mexico to be the first to claim $1M. The movie is one great gag after another....If you like slapstick and sometimes a little bit sick humor - then you'll love this.
There is some bad language, some sexual references, and some mildly "sick" stuff. But, it's no worse than most PG-13 films and I'd say okay for 12-13 year olds. |
