The first Beatles movie is probably the best. The direction under Richard Lester is awesome, and the Beatles acting isn't bad at all. The actual plot is that the Beatles have to survive a day in the life as they get ready for a show and also take care of John McCartney, Pauls mischeivious grandfather, who can't stay out of trouble for a second. John does his comedy routines throughout the entire movie, Paul and George just act as themselves for once, and Ringo manages to sulk his way into getting himself lost with only 15 minutes until the show goes on. Also along for the ride is Shake and Norm, who argue about Shake always being taller than Norm through most of the film and worry about finding the boys in time for the show. All in all, it's a great movie, with excellent music that should be in any Beatles fans' collection.
