The story is an A+ easily. It has a good message, brothers. For a dubbed anime movie, this has damn good actors and actresses doing the voices, and it actually looks like they're talking. Not like some other animes where the timing is all off. The direction is awesome. They all busted their asses making one of the most celebrated and respected movies of all time. If you aren't immediately engrossed by the fantastic story, the visuals will entice you to keep watching. I've never seen drawings anywhere as good as the drawings in Mononoke. Miyazaki and his crew went back and touched up the backgrounds (the mountains are stunning!) with watercolors. They enhanced it even more. All of these components blend togewther to make a cinema experience unlike anything you have ever seen before. If I told you to go and find me a better anime movie, you would be absolutely hard-pressed. |
