Although I am have a total dislike of teen high school movies, I have to say that this movie was actually kind of funny. Comedies have taken a turn for the worst over the past four years revolving around sexual, drug and racial humor. This movie does not depart from this path, but at least it takes an interesting approach. Not to say that the high school Cinderella (which in this case is a guy) plot has not been used to death, the cameos of washed out C-List celerities such as Tommy Lee, Vanilla Ice, and that dude from Joe's Apartment's um... brother actually add some laguhing points in the movie, whether you are lauging at their roles, or at the fact that they are acutally in the movie. |
