Random, definitely random, but the thing about Wet Hot America Summer is this director was looking for it. I think we all know the director/producers of this film both know it was not going to smash records and the box, but they accomplished their goal with satisfactory results. Making an extrememely random movie really cannot be that hard, but making it funny and a bit interesting is not as easy as you might think. Compared to most "random-comedy" movies (loaded weapon) this has a better story, better acting, and personally it is 10 times more interesting. So for every critic that is looking to bash this movie for being so horrible, think about the fact that you probably didn't want some random D and D nerd hitting on chicks, you wanted something different, so you need to go rate whatever you were looking for. |
