This is one of my favorite movies of all time. From the beginning this movie is very passionate and intense. By mid movie, you can really feel the love beween Victoria, played by Jessica Pare' and Polly, played by Piper Parabo. You really can connect with the love in this movie, whether it reminds you of your first love, your last love, or the love of your life, this movie is a brilliant journey along the way. It really hits home with the discrimination parents can have on a gay child, and also the torment that can occur from peers. The movie hits a broad range of situations that teens have to deal with. The cast does a great job. Kudos to Piper and Jessica for making the on screen love so damn believable that it hurts. Regardless of whether you are a teen or young adult, I recommend you watch this movie, with or with out your love interests and your friends. If ou have any emotion at all, then this film will truly touch you. Bottom Line: This film has subject matter that can be related to on any level, it is almost theraputic to watch. |
