Outstanding performances, and I mean OUTSTANDING! Sexy Beast is wisely directed and moves briskly through an engaging story. The battle of wills between Gal and Don is both brutal and funny. Ben Kingsley is amazing as the completely amoral, super-bad-ass nemesis. Ian McShane brings a terrific supporting role as Teddy, the mastermind behind the heist who slowly and ultimately draws the truth from Gal. Cool and cunning, McShane's Teddy is about the last guy you would want to be hiding something from. Sexy Beast is downright intense and an extremely well crafted film. See it! |
