This film is so bold to go where it did. It is extremely difficult to watch, yet its provocative nature only enhances its potency. The film does not give simple answers, and in fact leaves the viewer with the task of confronting themselves and their relationship to each character. There are few, if any movies out there that feature an all male cast. L.I.E. deals with issues of fatherhood, sexuality, male relationships, and violence in an unflinching manner. It is a challenge to sit through the movie, but the questions it raises are impossible to ignore, and essential to address. |
