Several friends have watched this movie with different conclusions. All of them thought it was a great movie, as did I...but the perceived "meaning/message" behind the movie varied. I think that is why this low budget, but well made movie gains in popularity over time by word of mouth and is on the road to being a time test cult classic. I think the trailer/TV ads for the movie was misleading. It reeked of violence and as a horror movie. Maybe because it was released right before Halloween? Anyways...the plot has a great twist and I highly recommend viewing the movie a second time with the directors commentary and viewing the deleted scenes both with and without the commentary so you can hear the deleted scenes; which were unfortunately to not have made it to the final cut. The scenes were cut due to time restraints. I was VERY disappointed that a song soundtrack is not available…but the original movie score is. This is not another teen horror flick…… |
