From beginning to end, this movie cast a spell over me. I looked through the eyes of David and saw unconditional love and a desire to be loved in return so strong that he would travel to the ends of the Earth to have it. Steven Spielberg's direction is breathtaking. The man really knows how to stir your emotions. The acting is also excellent. You really feel what the characters are feeling. And the story is like no other. It's like a fairy tale. Near the end it even has a narrator. Not many movies can make me cry, but this one did, and I'm not ashamed to say it. |
