Michael Zane(Russell) just got out of prison and he wastes no time setting up his next heist by joining up with a new gang led by his old friend and partner in crime, Thomas Murphy(Costner) along with three others named Hanson(Slater), Franklin(Woodbine) and Gus(Arquette). The group plans to rob The Riviera Hotel Casino in Las Vegas during International Elvis Week. They all dress up like Elvis and go to rob the casino but something goes wrong after they get the money and they have to start shooting up the casino like mad men. Now they are the most wanted men in the country.
Thomas Murphy then decides to keep all the money for himself but that turns out to be a mistake because Michael Zane wants that money more than anything. With $3.2 million at stake and the Marshals on his tale Zane must outsmart Murphy and watch out that Cybil Waingrow(Cox) and her son Jesse don't mess things up for him.
This is a great action movie. It's fun and entertaining. My favorite part is when Costner catches a ride with that old guy who is on his way to watch a high school football game and he beats him up and puts on his clothes and acts like a crazy drunk with too much school spirit. |
