This movie rocks.
Of course, snob-nosed critics who don't know how to loosen up and enjoy themselves would have you think differently, but this is THE perfect action film.
First, there is the opening sequence. Two computer animated scorpions battling it out. Outstanding!
Second, there is the star-studded cast. Kevin Costner plays the perfect badass killer/thief, who we just can't help but admire. Besides, look at him. His outfit, sideburns, shades, this guy's just cool. Kurt Russell, David Arquette, Christian Slater, Kevin Pollack, Jon Lovitz, Ice-T, and Bokeem Woodbine all make memorable appearances.
Third, Courtney Cox-Arquette. Damn, she is at her prime in this flick. A true feast for the eyes, and that's all I'll say about that.
Then there's the plot. Incredibly original: Elvis impersonators gone mad. Props for originality. I love it!
Ok, so this movie IS full of language, gore, and sexuality. So what? If that offends you, go watch Blue's Clues. But if you want an all-out, shoot 'em up, bad-guy-versus-bad-guy, non-stop heart-pounding edge of your seat absolutely PERFECT action movie, its worth the trip. 3KMTG Is King! |
